GORILLA TREKKING

It is impossible to predict how far you have to walk

It is impossible to predict how far you have to walk to find the animals. The march first goes to the previous night's sleeping place and from there you follow the tracks of the gorillas to their whereabouts. Since the gorillas do not stick to the network of paths, considerable parts of the route have to be covered off paths through the steep mountain rainforest. You will be guided by an experienced park ranger. He will tell you interesting facts about the fauna and flora and the way of life of the gorillas. As an alternative to gorilla trekking, there are several activities such as hiking, mountain biking, boat trips offered by the lodge.
