After breakfast, your guide will discuss the activities during the safari. Afterwards you will drive to Lake Manyara and in the afternoon you will go on your first exciting game drive. Lake Manyara National Park consists of 3 vegetation zones: rainforest, bushland and the lake. The most striking animal species for visitors are baboons, impala antelopes and elephants. But bird lovers also get their money's worth on the lake shore. Flamingos, pelicans, spoonbills, numerous wading birds, ducks and geese can be seen. The tree-climbing lions that made the park famous, however, are rarely seen.

In the morning you drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. On the way you will make a short detour to the Olduvai George Museum, where the oldest human bone finds can be seen. In the afternoon you will go on a game drive and experience the breathtaking wildlife in the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Large herds of wild animals move through the savannah and with a little luck you can watch cheetahs hunting.

Today you will spend the whole day in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is Africa's most famous wildlife area and lies between the Ngorongoro Highlands, Lake Victoria and Tanzania's northern border with Kenya. The name Serengeti comes from “siriget” from the Masai and means “endless prairie”. The park is approximately 14,760 km² in size and enchants with its endless savannahs and huge herds of game.

In the morning you will go on another game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic at Nabi Hill Gate. As you continue your journey you will cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area past some Masai villages. The rest of the day is at your leisure. After breakfast, set off on a 6-hour crater tour with a picnic in the immediate vicinity of a “hippopotamus pool”. The crater was created by the collapse of a volcano comparable in height to Kilimanjaro. Today the crater is around 600 m deep and is home to around 20,000 large wild animals. Because the water sources in the crater never all dry out, the majority of the animals stay there for their entire lives. Among other things, hippos, lions, leopards and elephants as well as some of the last black rhinos in Tanzania. In the afternoon you will drive to your accommodation.

Lake Manyara - Arusha - Zanzibar

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara
After breakfast we leave Lake Naivasha behind us and set off into the endless expanse of the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is the northernmost extension of the Serengeti in Tanzania, in the middle of the Lake Victoria basin. Upon arrival we begin with an en-route game drive, giving us our first taste of this fascinating landscape and its breathtaking wildlife. Afterwards we check into our accommodation. In the afternoon we go on a game drive or enjoy the view from our lodge over the Mara River and the endless expanses of the Masai Mara.
