Welcome to Habibi Tour
➢ Chepe Express Tour
Which train?
Which train? How much does my Chepe tour cost with Habibi - World Travel & Tour?
Which train? Chepe Express or Chepe Regional?
It is not entirely clear whether travelers will still be able to use the regional train in the future.
A reservation is not possible anyway. The more adventurous can show up at the desired departure station and try to buy tickets.
If you want to be on the safe side, reserve your seats on the Chepe Express well in advance of your planned train journey.
Here are some differences between the two trains:
Comfort: The new Chepe Express is a luxury train with separate carriages for the restaurant, bar and lounge.
The older train is called the Chepe Regional and is primarily used by local residents as a means of transport.
Route and stops: This is probably the most significant difference between the two trains. The Chepe Express
only runs between Los Mochis and Creel and has just three stops at the tourist destinations. The Chepe Regional offers
more stops and runs from Los Mochis to the capital, Chihuahua.
Timetable: Both the Chepe Express and the Chepe Regional run in opposite directions every 2 to 3 days. As the
name suggests, the Chepe Express covers its route faster than the Chepe Regional. The timetable is also more reliable,
with regional trains delays are the order of the day.
Price: The price depends on the stays and the class of the hotel, please be as specific as possible about your needs and a cost limit.
We will make you an offer according to your wishes, as you are used to from us.
