The entrance to the rivers is 5km before Cacahuamilpa and you have to walk over the hills to get there. The entrance to the two rivers is different: In Chontalcoatepec you have to walk a further distance before you reach the river entrance; In San Jerónimo, the entrance to the river is right at the entrance to the cave. It is recommended that you bring a metal boat to store your belongings in and put linoline on your body to make the descent easier. This should be done in pairs to avoid serious accidents.
