Itinerary

DAY 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
You will be met in the morning by your driver, who will be your guide for the next few days. Drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive until sunset, observing large herds of elephant, zebra and buffalo.

Masai flair
The Lodge
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is nestled at the foot of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Built in the heart of Amboseli National Park, the lodge is tucked away in the African bush and is reminiscent of a Masai village in its architectural style. The lodge has a public restaurant area with an indoor and outdoor bar, a swimming pool with a sun terrace for relaxing, a souvenir shop, and a romantic campfire place where you can end the evening comfortably.
There is also WiFi everywhere and satellite TV in the common room and a conference room.
In the spa area you can really let yourself be pampered.

The Bungalows
The 45 lovingly furnished bungalows always consist of two parties and are lined up in the extensive gardens. The rooms are decorated in a very African style and come with a private bathroom/toilet. You can sleep well in the comfortable double beds and of course you are protected by a mosquito net. Each accommodation also has a ceiling fan and W-Lan reception. A special eye-catcher are the hand-painted wall frescoes with Masai-inspired motifs.

DAY 2: Amboseli National Park
After a traditional breakfast, you start your extensive game drive. The east is where most of the animals can be seen: elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, Masai giraffe and buffalo. Zebra, eland, wildebeest, waterbuck, Thomson and Grant gazelle and impala are also regularly observed.Accommodation: Amboseli Serena Lodge

DAY 3: Amboseli-Tsavo West
Amboseli National Park Your safari continues to Tsavo West. There you will observe the first animals of the day. Discuss with your guide when and how long you would like to venture out into the rolling countryside for game viewing.

The lodge was built with natural materials from the area and has a stylish interior decoration. The elegant rooms reflect the warm African atmosphere, making you feel very comfortable as soon as you arrive. From the main house of Kilaguni Serena Lodge there is a unique view of a waterhole which attracts many species of animals such as zebra, buffalo, elephant, gazelle, warthog and many other species.

In the tropical garden you will see bougainvillas in all colors and have the opportunity to watch the many colorful birds or relax by the swimming pool after a game drive.

The Kilaguni Serena Lodge offers a total of 56 stylishly furnished rooms, including 5 suites and 51 double rooms, which can also be booked as triple rooms or with a connecting door. Each room has its own veranda overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro or the Chyulu Hills. They are equipped with double/twin beds, bathroom, bathrobe/slippers, fan and WiFi.

DAY 4: Tsavo West National Park
How about an early morning game drive? Your guide will drive you to Mzima Springs. There is a high probability that you will see hippos lying in the cooling water. A special attraction is an underwater tank that was let into the river and offers a completely different kind of observation opportunity. This day concludes with another game drive.
