The Uganda Highlights Safari starts in Entebbe. Here you will be warmly welcomed by your personal driver at Entebbe Airport and taken to your accommodation, where you can acclimatize and rest after the flight.

Karibu Guest House is located in Entebbe, about 10 minutes drive from the International Airport. True to its name - "Karibu" means "welcome" in Kiswahili - you will receive a warm welcome upon arrival at the guest house. The Guest House has an open-plan restaurant with a beautiful view of the gardens, it spoils you with delicious dishes with Mediterranean and African influences. The ingredients are bought fresh at the market or come from their own vegetable garden.

The rooms
Karibu Guest House has 7 rooms, 4 rooms in the main building and 3 in an annex in the garden. Each of the spacious rooms has been furnished in a unique design and features mosquito nets, a desk, free WiFi, an en-suite bathroom and a beautiful view of the surroundings.

Bwindi National Park

DAY 2 Bwindi National Park
From Entebbe the journey continues by jeep to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your guide will tell you a lot of interesting stories about Uganda and your destination on the way.

Mahogany Springs is one of the newest lodges in Bwindi and offers comfort to match. Whether you want to go bird watching or visit a pod of gorillas, Mahogany Springs Lodge is the ideal base. The main building has an open design with high ceilings and houses a small gift shop, a large bar area and a lounge with a fireplace. There is also a small library with a DVD collection and the veranda invites you to linger. In addition to the library and the DVD collection, lectures on the life of the mountain gorillas or traditional dances provide variety.

Amenities include two double beds, mosquito nets, power outlets, a private veranda and of course a private bathroom. The Presidential Suite is even more spacious than the regular guest rooms. Gorilla Trekking

3rd Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast, meet your guide and continue towards Murchison Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. Over the next two days, Today you will experience the absolute highlight of this safari: encountering the rare mountain gorillas will perhaps be one of the most exciting experiences of your life, because there are only 650 of these fascinating animals left in the world. You will be guided by an experienced park ranger who will provide you with lots of information about the fauna and flora and the way of life of the gorillas. In the afternoon you can take a forest walk to Munyaga Waterfall (optional).

Today you drive to Ishasha, the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In Ishasha you will go on a game drive in search of the unique tree climbing lions. You will then drive into the main part of the national park.

5th Day Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your safari starts today with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon you take a wonderful boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. Enjoy watching herds of hippos snorting and splashing in the water. We are always particularly happy when we can also watch elephants taking a bath here.

6th Day Schimpansen Trekking
In the early morning the journey continues to the Kyambura Gorge to observe the chimpanzees living there. Your guide will then take you to Entebbe, where you will say goodbye to each other after an eventful safari.

After breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, a driver will take you to your hotel.

Next Paradise is located on the north east coast of the Indian Ocean. The private beach of white sand is about 100 m long and is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The resort is located just off the fishing village of Pwani Mchangani (white beach) north of Kiwengwe and south of Matemwe village. The resort is approximately a 45-minute drive from the airport on a paved road. This charming little hotel in Zanzibar is known for its elegance, excellent cuisine and above all for its intimate and tranquil atmosphere.

Or you can simply drift along the coast of Zanzibar in an old dhow and immerse yourself in the wonderful underwater world. enchanting waterfall is located in the heart of Bwindi Forest.
