Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you set off on your first game drive in Tarangire National Park. Here you will experience the highest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti. The approximately 2,850 km² national park, which is crossed by the Tarangire River, impresses with a beautiful landscape that is characterized in particular by grassland and open tree savannahs as well as dense bushland and rocky peaks with sparse vegetation. The following day is also available for extensive game drives.

The camp

The Lake Burunge Tented Camp is an ideal starting point for safari trips in Tarangire, as you can reach the national park in just 20 minutes. The main building has a lounge and a bar on a wooden viewing deck. This raised platform is the perfect place to relax and watch the setting sun over Lake Burunge in the evening with a sundowner or simply enjoy the pleasant warmth of the fire pit.

Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
This morning you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic, where you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the natural world and wildlife from your guide. In addition to the varied wildlife, the national park's diverse vegetation is also impressive. It is characterized by both the lush forest landscape and a large flood plain, which is very popular with herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra. The national park is named after the lake, on the shore of which you can also marvel at a geological peculiarity: the Maji Moto hot springs.

The lodge

Tloma's excellent location on an elevated valley side offers fantastic views of the lodge's own coffee plantation and the famous Ngorongoro Crater, whose walls can be enjoyed from the private terraces of the rooms. The small and exclusive lodge with 24 small colonial-style cottages was built on the foothills of the Ngorongoro highlands and also offers 12 rooms with views of the garden and/or the coffee plantation. The design of the entire lodge is intended to create an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial plantations and farms described in many books and films.

And the gardens with their many flowers and bushes are always ideal for a long walk or a guided hike.

Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park
You will spend the next three days in the famous Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is Africa's most famous wildlife area and lies between the Ngorongoro Highlands, Lake Victoria and Tanzania's northern border with Kenya. The park is located on a high plateau of over 2,000 m and enchants with its savannahs and huge herds of game.

The camp
The Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp is located in the center of the Serengeti National Park and offers the ideal starting point for wildlife viewing. The mobile tent camp is located in the central Serengeti and is therefore ideally located to visit the places on the large plains where most animals are found at any time of the year. In the middle of the camp is the communal tent with a cozy dining area. The campfire every evening invites you to end the day after an exciting day with up-close nature experiences.

Ngorongoro Crater
This morning, after breakfast, you will go on a final game drive in the Serengeti. Afterwards you will continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic in your luggage. The next morning you will experience a 6-hour game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Today the crater is around 600 m deep and is home to around 20,000 large wild animals. Since the water sources in the crater never dry out, the majority of the animals stay there for their entire lives. You will see, among other things, hippos, lions, leopards and elephants, as well as some of the last black rhinos in Tanzania.

Ngorongoro Farm House
The Lodge
Ngorongoro Farm House is a small guest house located near the Ngorongoro crater rim and about 4 km from Lodoare Gate with views of the Oldeani Volcano. The spacious main building, which has a thatched roof, contains a reception, bar, dining room, library and lounge with an open fireplace around which guests can meet in the evening for stimulating conversations. Guests have access to a swimming pool and two restaurants.
